🙂As requested by many of you here is my Qorme Kofta or Meatball curry recipe

▪Ingredients for the kofta /meatballs

– 1 kg minced beef&lamb
– 5 tbsp bread crumbs
– 1 large  onion
– 4 garlic cloves
– Some coriander and parsley
– Small carrot
– 1 tbsp of salt
– 1 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp red chili
– 1 tbsp coriander seeds
– 1tsp cumin powder





■ First soak half cup of split lentils for a few hours then cook until softened.

Preparation:

Chop everything in fine pieces and rasp the carrot and onion for best result.
Place the bread-crumbs with the minced meat in a big bowl.
Finally mix the ingredients well together.

Make small balls ( for decoration Shola  Kecheri Quroot) and large balls and fry the meatballs with oil at medium temperature and stir gently for approx. 5 mins.

▪For the qorna / curry :

– 1/2split lentils
– 2 medium onions
– 2 tbsp  tomato pasta
– 2 tbsp paprika pasta
– 2 garlic cloves
– 1 tbsp of salt
– 1 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp red chili
– 1 tsp coriander seeds powder
– 1/2 tsp ginger powder
– 1tsp turmeric
– 3 cup boiling water
– 100 ml sunflower oil

First fry the grated onions  with oil until lightly brown, then add the all the spices, tomatoes, paprika pasta and garlic. Stir  well. Then add the water & cook everything for another 5 minutes.

Carefully add the balls in the curry simmer on medium temperature(20 min).  Add the cooked lentils let simmer for another 5 minutes then it is ready to serve! Enjoy 😊👩‍🍳🧡
