Chapli Kebab is another Afghan kabab recipe, with lots of herbs and fresh vegetables
500 g minced lamb
1 tbsp tsp burger seasoning
½ teaspoon of black pepper
½ teaspoon of whole cilantro
½ teaspoon of whole cumin
2 tbsp chickpeas flour
A few spring onions
1 medium grated potato (the water must be removed)
1 tomato without seeds
2 green chili peppers (finely chopped, without seeds
Half red and yellow bell pepper finely cut
Handful of fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Mix the minced meat with all herbs and cut vegetables except the tomatoes and let it rest for 20 minutes so that all flavors can absorb well and then add the tomatoes with extra chili pepper.
Shape them like meatballs and flatten them into a burger with your hands or during baking
Fry the chapli kebab brown in the hot oil in medium temperature.
Serve a pita bread with a fresh salad and chatni yogurt garlic sauce.
Also a frequent use with kebab is Sumak and a dry powder form of seedless grapes. They have a sour taste and provides a nice flavor to the kebab . 👩🏼🍳💙😊 enjoy!
