DIY Hummus
Tasty, Healthy & Vegan. Also cheap to make it yourself and great during the Ramadan month. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.
Ingredients for this recipe:
A jar of cooked chickpeas
(or about 100g dry chickpeas) *
2 tbsp tahin/ [sezampasta] **
1 lemon juice
1/2 tbsp sea salt
1 clove of garlic
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp chili pepper
5 tbsp water (I used chickpea grout)

How to:
Really simple! Just rinse the chickpeas with cool water and mix everything with a food processor or mixer to make hummus.
You can serve with fried onions and tomato paste. And baguette or pita bread as a side.
So delicious, enjoy! 👩🏼‍🍳💙😊 * Soak 100 g chickpeas for a few hours then boil in water for an hour until cooked. ** No tahin? No problem! You can make your own by using 200 g of white sesame seeds 5 tbsp olive or sesame oil. Mix these two ingredients in a blender and keep in a glass jar.
