💡🥃Healthy and aromatic dried fig drink
This is an old fashion natural health drink that doesn’t contain added sugars.
Fresh figs are a good source of fiber, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals
Dried figs do have more calories and sugar, but it’s good for a number of things. Lowering blood pressure, intestines, promoting bowel movements, against anemia, MS complaints, throat pain and can act as antidepressant.
For the proper functioning of your intestines, mix 100 ml of fig drink with 100 ml hot water a drink and eat an hour later for a few days until your complaints have passed. You can do this every morning and it should be done on an empty stomach. People with diabetes should use less due to the sugar.
For this drink you will need:
– 250 g of dried figs
– 50 g almonds (people with nut allergies can skip this)
– A few dried rose flowers (for aromatic taste)
– 1/2 liter of boiled water
First wash the dried figs thoroughly with cold water, take a large can, add all the ingredients, then carefully add the figs to the hot water and leave for 12 hours weeks afterwards in a charcoal cupboard with the lid closed.
You can store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks this way and add boiled water to it.
